June Planning Board Meeting | The application for the proposed redevelopment went before the Tarrytown Planning Board on Monday, June 23, 2025. The application includes:
Adaptive reuse of the existing office building to residential housing. The master plan includes new park space along Broadway and recreation areas along the westerly edge of the parcel. Reduced on grade parking [increased green space] is proposed via a partial raised single level parking deck. The existing building will be comprehensively reimagined on the exterior including two stepped back upper stories, a westerly addition and a below low grade level beneath the ground floor. Approximately 4,700 square feet of subdividable retail space is also proposed along the Broadway corridor side. A network of enhanced pedestrian linkages is proposed beginning with improvements along Broadway, new park paths and intraproject paths/walkways.Looking ahead, the project will be reviewed by several municipal boards, including the Planning Board, Zoning Board of Appeals, Architectural Review Board, and the Board of Trustees.

The July 28th meeting has been adjourned and the next village of Tarrytown planning board meeting is scheduled for Monday, August 25,where ongoing dialog via public hearing format will continue. Public commentary is encouraged. A broad range of items will be discussed including overarching environmental scoping subjects as well as emerging thoughts regarding project design evolution. The process remains at a very early stage and much remains to be explored.
You can view the submitted materials for the meeting [here].
The project team remains committed to engaging with neighbors and greater Tarrytown community stakeholders. Please consider our ongoing dialog via this website to run concurrent with the more formal village land use procedure process. Our desire is to support both lanes of engagement productively and synergistically. As previously shared, our next public engagement session will occur in the near future in support of the formal land use review process. Stay tuned.
